WP33 Objectives
The aim of the packages is:
- There exists already relatively reliable knowledge on social capital, its “accumulation” at the national level, differences across social strata, as well as national and even international level of cross country comparisons. However, relatively little is known of the local formation of the social capital at the voluntary organizations, work places and even within the families. This work package will explore the wide variety of social capital research.
- The aim of this Work Package is to investigate and compare the local formation and organization of social capital at the variety of settings, ranging from work places to associations and private sphere. Different theoretical fields for research are included.
