A symposium, University of Kent at Canterbury, Friday 25th April – Saturday 26th April 2008
The goal of this symposium is to explore the conceptual and practice-based nature of the relationships and linkages between
- the third sector (or non-market organised civil society) and its components;
- political ideologies;
- states or public authorities.
Each of these constructs or concepts are apparently currently subject to a good deal of change, turbulence and contestation. The symposium will aim to expose and ‘unpack’ and analyse key aspects of these and allied categories and processes.
