Through the implementation of the Programme for Integrating Research Activities CINEFOGO seeks to minimize the barriers for integrated and coordinated research on European citizenship, multiple identities in Europe and the way these two topics relate to citizen participation in governance. In order to accomplish this goal there is a need to build new research capacity in European countries based upon the premise of collaboration in all aspects of the Network.
