A preliminary programme will be available in March 2006.
About the seminar
The scope of this research seminar is to discuss and explore the latest theoretical and empirical knowledge in social sciences of the social dynamics of cities and neighbourhoods – as well as the strategies, practices and policies of the specific neighbourhood regeneration programmes, housing policy, citywide growth strategies, anti poverty and empowerment programmes promoted to address the contemporary challenges of the advanced marginality in the west.
The form of the seminar alternates between key-note speakers giving lectures and PhD students presenting their ‘work-in-progress’. The key-note speakers comment on each PhD student’s presentation and paper. English will be the main language enabling international Ph. D students to participate, but papers in Danish are also welcome. Senior researchers are also welcome.

Scholarships:
Two scholarships of 500 Euro are also available for international students. Application for the scholarship requires a recommendation for participating in
