About the conference
Berlin Institute for Comparative Social Research (BIVS) invite you to apply for a scholarship to attend the forthcoming EUROFOR Marie Curie conference on European and National Agencies of Dealing with the Non-Accepted.
This call for papers concerns the eighth event in the series, that will take place from 14 – 17. December in Berlin (Germany). Approx. 30 young researchers (mostly PhD candidates) as well as several experienced researchers, scholars and policy-makers will be attending the event.
Workshops and seminars
Throughout the workshops and seminars the following topics will be addressed:
• The Politics of Immigrant Selection in Europe
• Models of Migration Management
• The Situation of Irregular Residents in the EU
• The Politics of State Agencies and International Organisations in the Regulation of Migration Flows
• Social Exclusion, Citizenship and Equal Opportunities
Costs
There are 32 Marie Curie scholarships available for young and experienced researchers from EU Member States and Third Countries, covering travel and accommodation costs for this four day conference.
