WP1: Network Council meeting 2008
NCM 2008 will take place in Kaunas (Lithuania) on 19-22 May 2008
WP21 The 8th PhD Network Meeting
The 8th PhD Network on the Third Sector and Civil Society meeting will be for the first time organised in Central and Eastern Europe on 22nd-25th of May 2008. Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania offers a four days seminar for PhD students from all over the Europe to discuss their thesis as well as to participate in theoretical and practical sessions given by renowned scholars from Western and Eastern Europe. PhD Netvvork Meeting 2008 is the third seminar mainly supported by CINEFOGO and ERSTE Foundation.

WP41 Summer School: Sociology and the Quality of Life
The summer school aims to explore how theory and methods can be combined in the study of societies in Europe in general and the study of quality of life in particular. An additional theme is the combination of different methods in the study of European societies.
WP16 Conference on Contemporary European Perspectives on Volunteering
The conference "Contemporary European Perspectives on Volunteering: Civic Virtue vs. Social Movement Activism" is collaboratively organized and funded by Stiftelsen Riksbankens Jubilieumsfond (the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation), the CINEFOGO Network of Excellence on Civil Society and New Forms of Governance in Europe, and Ersta Sköndal University College.

A Trans-European Top Executive Programme is composed of eighteen days divided into four modules that will be held in four academic capitals of Europe. The first module starts in September 2008 in Stockholm and the last runs in June 2009 in Dublin.
